John Haddrick
Principal

John brings over 35 years of expertise in marketing, sales information systems, consultancy, and analytics. As a co-founder of Aztec Information Systems in 1995, he served as Managing Director until 2008, guiding the company’s growth from a small startup to a market leader with hundreds of clients and international expansion. Aztec Information Systems is now part of the Circana business. In 2012, Summit Insights was created, which continues to evolve and support a large range of clients in their use of data to unlock business opportunities.

 

Throughout his career, John has worked with industry giants such as Woolworths, Nestle, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Colgate and many others in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector. His deep understanding of the industry helps Summit Insights drive data-driven strategies for retailers and suppliers alike.

Cameron Mackie
 Director

Cameron is a Director of Summit Insights bringing over 25 years of expertise in data analytics, transaction data mining, business consulting, and software development. In 2010, he was contracted by Coca-Cola Amatil to lead the development of their Business Intelligence team, where he successfully sourced transaction-level data from hundreds of retailers. His leadership helped these retailers identify and capitalise on business growth opportunities.

 

Prior to 2010, Cameron spent over a decade as Commercial Director and Business Development Director at Aztec, where he gained extensive experience collaborating with leading retailers and consumer goods manufacturers in Australia and internationally. His commitment to driving innovation in data analytics and information services has significantly enhanced decision-making processes across numerous businesses.
