John Haddrick

John is the Principal of Summit Insights. He has more than 35 years experience in all aspects of marketing and sales information systems, consultancy and analytics.

Prior to starting Summit Insights in 2010, John co-founded Aztec Information Systems in 1995, and was Managing Director until 2008 when the company was acquired by Aegis/Synovate, a publicly listed UK company. During those 13 years, the business grew from a small start up to a market leader with hundreds of clients and expanded into many other countries. 

John has worked with a large number of the leading companies in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, including Nestle, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Masterfoods, Colgate, Procter & Gamble, Kellogg, GlaxoSmithKline, Woolworths and many others.

In 2012, John and Cameron merged their companies and services, to form the current Summit Insights business, developing new systems and evolving services to support hundreds of retailers and suppliers in their use of data.

Cameron Mackie

Cameron is a Director of Summit Insights and has more than 25 years experience in data analytics, transaction data mining, business consulting and software development.

In 2010, Cameron was contracted by Coca Cola Amatil to manage the development of their Business Intelligence team.  He was able to source transaction level data from hundreds of retailers, and through management of the team, help those retailers find and execute business growth opportunities.  

In 2012, Cameron and John merged their companies to create the Summit Insights business, as it is today.

Prior to this, he spent 10 years as Commercial Director and Business Development Director of Aztec.  He has extensive experience working with many of the leading retailers and manufacturers of consumer goods, in Australia and overseas.

Cameron has consistently driven innovation in data analytics and information services over many years, enhancing the way data insights are used in decision making across many businesses.
